AI Operations Manager

Storm Ideas is hiring an AI Operations Manager to own the operational quality of the AI tools, platforms, and workflows used across the business. This is a hands-on operating role for someone who can keep a fast-moving AI stack reliable, well configured, and useful for teams working with globally recognised entertainment brands.

What you will own

• Take operational ownership of Storm's AI tools, AI platforms, configuration standards, reliability, and access administration.
• Keep the AI Operations team ahead of changes in AI tools, platforms, costs, risks, permissions, and underlying model capabilities.
• Improve visibility into AI tool configuration, platform usage, operational performance, and weak points in the current stack.
• Turn messy AI tooling operations into controlled, repeatable, scalable systems that teams can depend on.
• Translate team friction into practical technical fixes, then follow through on the detailed work needed to make those fixes durable.
• Give leadership a clear view of what is working, what is fragile, and what needs to change next across the AI tooling stack.

What you will work with

• LLM platform configuration and day-to-day AI platform operations.
• Prompt and agent configuration for internal workflows.
• AI tool APIs, integrations, permissions, and access controls.
• AI-related automation and workflow dependencies across internal teams.
• Operational standards, documentation, reliability checks, and tool governance.

• Experience managing technical platforms, ideally AI tools or AI platforms, in an operational environment.
• Strong practical judgment about AI tooling, platform reliability, permissions, integrations, and when to change course.
• High ownership, strong organisation, and the discipline to push operational improvements through to completion.
• Clear technical communication and the confidence to uphold standards across teams.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity while AI tools and platform capabilities change quickly.
• Energy for detailed, sometimes tedious platform work that makes an AI stack dependable rather than merely impressive in demos.

What success looks like

• You spot weak points in Storm's AI tooling before they become recurring team problems.
• You identify which AI platform changes matter, decide what needs to adapt, and drive those changes into real operational improvements.
• You make the AI tooling stack materially better at running, not just better documented.
• You take responsibility for AI tooling outcomes and do not let the stack drift while the market moves around it.
