Due to continued growth and increasing focus on operational scalability, Lockton is seeking a Systems & Automation Analystto support the Integrated Absence Solutions practice. This role is responsible for designing and implementing automation and AI‑driven solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and enhance service delivery across IAS. The position serves as a hands‑on technical expert leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), AI agents, Python and advanced analytics (including Alteryx). The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with a deep understanding of business workflows in a professional services or insurance environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify manual, repetitive, and inefficient workflows across IAS service delivery and operations.

  • Design and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Build AI‑assisted workflows and agents to support data summarization, intake, triage, reporting, and internal support processes.

  • Act as a Copilot subject matter expert for IAS, supporting effective use of Copilot within Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.

  • Develop IAS‑specific Copilot use cases that improve productivity and consistency while aligning with data governance standards.

  • Partner with Enablement and Technology teams to support adoption of AI capabilities across the practice.

  • Utilize Python to automate complex data transformations, replace spreadsheet‑driven processes, and improve repeatability of analytics.

  • Integrate outputs from Alteryx, Power BI, and Microsoft data sources into automated reporting pipelines.

  • Support validation, documentation, and quality control of automated solutions.

  • Partner with IAS Consultants, Series Leads, Practice Operations, Enablement, Analytics, and Technology teams.

  • Support pilots, enhancements, and rollout of automation solutions with a focus on scalability and sustainability.

  • Translate business needs into practical, maintainable technical solutions.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of workflow automation and business intelligence experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI‑assisted productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern data structures and storage concepts (e.g., Azure tables, SQL, JSON) to support reliable Power Automate and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Experience building or supporting automation workflows, bots, or AI agents.
  • Python experience strongly preferred, particularly for operational or consulting analytics.
  • Background in insurance, benefits, HR operations, consulting, or professional services preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
