You'll own product design at Ambrook and build what you design, working in the space between design intent and a shipped product that usually gets lost in the handoff. You're as comfortable prototyping in code and opening a PR as you are in Figma, and you treat Claude and other agents as part of how you work. We care more about your taste, judgment, and willingness to try things than about how polished your portfolio looks.
Product and design have changed dramatically over the last year, and we've changed with them. We've retooled ourselves around AI to clear out the busy work, give designers more of their time for the creative work that's actually fulfilling, and carry those visions into the product themselves. We're looking for someone to learn and build alongside our design team, staying flexible as the macro keeps shifting while shipping incredible product for our fast-growing customer base.
What we look for
You can take an idea from a sketch to a working prototype to a shipped PR, because here design and build are one job rather than a handoff.
You're fluent with AI tools, comfortable prototyping in code, pairing with Claude Code and agents, and reading a diff.
You naturally live between design and engineering, and you like it there.
You have real product taste and the craft instincts to help steward a design system that's picked up a few years of drift.
You're more curious about the domain than about a polished portfolio. Accounting software for agriculture is unglamorous and deep, and you want in.
